SMART CUP 2025 is February 20-21, 2025 at Pebble Beach Golf Links & Resort, CA.
SMART CUP isn't just about golf. It’s about cultivating relationships and networking, including with some of our largest benefactors, and building foundational support for RNG Coalition's Sustainable Methane Abatement & Recycling Timeline (SMART) Endowment, to help ensure the financial stability of our organization so we can continue to advocate, educate, protect and expand existing RNG markets and create new and diverse market demand, even through unforeseeable geopolitics, natural disasters, health crises and or inevitable market consolidation and changes.
Just Announced: During our evening reception and SMART CUP trophy presentation, we will hear from Robby Emery, Chaplain and Director of Character Development for the University of Michigan football team. We will also host a leadership session with special guest speakers (TBA) for all registered attendees from 9:00am-12:00pm on Friday, February 21.
SMART CUP 2024 took place March 25 at THE PLAYERS Stadium Course - the permanent home of THE PLAYERS Championship - played just 8 days before SMART CUP.

SMART Endowment creates foundational support for the financial stability and continuity of RNG Coalition and RNG Global, including through inevitable geopolitics, natural disasters, health crises and related market conditions and dynamics beyond the organization’s control that may negatively impact its budget, operations and ability to carry out our shared industry mission and achieve our SMART Initiative.
Each year RNG Coalition hosts the SMART Cup golf tournament and endowment fundraiser at a world-renowned golf course, beginning with Pebble Beach in 2022.
